Doros Rent-A-Car was founded in 1972 by Polydoros Eleftheriou (Doros) after recognizing the growing service needs of an ever increasing number of overseas EU holidaymakers.
 
Following the Turkish invation of the island in 1974 and the subsequent human and financial losses, the founder moved to Limassol. Working as a depot policeman in the British forces Garrison in Pissouri for a period of 2 years, he later managed to rebuild the company, having saved 3 out of the 6 cars in the days of trouble.
 
After a creative career in the Cyprus car rental industry, Doros established an extensive network of contacts and associates covering all areas of the island, as well as offices in Limassol, Paphos, Larnaca and Protaras. The fleet comprises of more-than-the-average price vehicles and is probably one of the best well-maintained on the whole island, with continuous investment in the newest of models.
 
With a fleet of  over 100 cars, the company still retains the values of its founder in terms of providing proven quality, reliable cars of renowned world car manufacturers at reasonable prices, coupled with a personalized and friendly service experience!
